Exciting day:
Today I:
1. Went running
2. Balanced my checkbook
3. Went to the grocery store
4. Talked to Amanda
5. Did my taxes (federal, Maryland, and Illinois. Still have to do GA)
What is weird about the taxes is that GA has a lower rate than Illinois. Because of this, if I claim I was a GA resident while in school, I owe GA $40. If I was an IL resident, GA owes me $25. Either way, Illinois gives me nothing back (why does IL have no standard deduction? My parents are taking me as a dependent for one last year, so I can't get that. It's costing me $100 in MD, $20 in IL, about $5 in GA, and about $150 on my federal return. Oh well, next year...)
Anyway, I'm getting back $425 from the feds, $25 from GA, and $50 from MD. Not too bad, I can sure use it.
